Window Wonderland - Applications available now

Join us as we transform downtown into a festive wonderland! Applications are now available for the 4th annual Central Business District window decorating contest, "Window Wonderland." In collaboration with VisitGreenvilleSC, the City is excited to offer contest prizes for the winner in the following categories: Judges’ Award and People’s Choice Award. Windows must be decorated by Friday, December 3.

Night of Lights - Friday, December 3

Count down with Mayor White as we light the official City of Greenville Christmas tree in front of M. Judson Booksellers and turn on the plaza holiday lights along Main Street. This exciting FREE event includes food trucks and vendors, live music and a special visit from Santa Claus.

The official lighting will take place between 6:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., but be sure to come early to ensure you don't miss out on the magic.

Poinsettia Christmas Parade returns Saturday, December 4

The Greenville Poinsettia Christmas Parade will return to downtown on Saturday, December 4. This year's event will feature musical marching units, decorated floats, and Santa Claus! The parade will start at 6 p.m at the intersection of Main Street and Augusta Street. The parade will go north and end at North Street. More Information

The Blood Connection at United Community Bank Ice on Main

In partnership with United Community Bank Ice on Main, The Blood Connection will be on Main Street in front of Village Greenville from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, November 29. Donate blood and receive two free vouchers to skate at United Community Bank Ice on Main. Register early to reserve your spot at: https://thebloodconnection.org/iceonmain/.

Shop Downtown Opportunities

The City of Greenville has two exciting opportunities for Downtown Merchants through the holiday season! The first is a digital gift card that allows shoppers to use at any downtown business that opts in. The second is an Instagram giveaway that will be used to promote participating downtown merchants. The TD Saturday Market announced the return of the Holiday Edition on Saturday December 4 and Saturday, December 11. Each event will host over 35+ vendors.

Visitors Guide available at City Hall

The 2021-2022 Visitors Guide is now available for pickup at City Hall. This Downtown resource includes a complete list of shopping, dining and lodging locations, in addition to yearly events and must-visit tourist attractions. To pick up your supply today, please contact Greenville Cares at 864-232-2273.

Street Performer Feedback Form

Street performer applications are available for the 2021-2022 season. Downtown businesses and visitors can now submit feedback on street performers in the Central Business District. If you would like more info on the City's street performer program, click here.
