CARES Act Targets Minority and Small Businesses

Minority and small businesses with 25 or fewer employees that have been in operation from October 13, 2019 to the present and have been impacted by COVID-19 are eligible to apply for funding from the SC CARES Minority and Small Business Relief Grant Program. Grant awards ranging from $2,500 to $25,000 are available to reimburse business staffing costs, business operating costs, facility costs, revenue loss and PPE.

The application window opens on October 19 and closes on November 1. Successful applicants will be notified of grant awards December 8 – 15. To apply, visit, https://accelerate.sc.gov/cares-act/applying-sc-cares-act-funds.
