Verdae Boulevard Streetscape

New streetscaping on Verdae Boulevard will include a multi-use sidewalk, medians, intersection work and repaving from Woodruff Road to Laurens Road.

Improvements planned for Verdae Boulevard, which connects Laurens Road (US 276) and Woodruff Road (SC 146), include a new 10-foot sidewalk/multi-use path, raised medians with landscaping and street lighting.

The project scope also includes traffic control, street resurfacing, grading, curb and gutter, drainage and traffic signal upgrades.

Update: April 2019

  • Multi-use path is complete
  • Street lighting is awaiting final inspections and Duke’s meter installation
  • Curbing, apron, and paving for the roundabout have been started
  • Next steps – close both outside lanes of Verdae between Salters and Woodruff roads, and complete work on the roundabout.
